Boomerang complaints now usually involve the Boomerang streaming service shutdown, Max migration, subscription cancellation, renewal charges, refund requests, account transfer, missing content, app access, privacy requests, or support delays. The strongest complaint starts with the Boomerang account email, original subscription source, billing provider, receipt, migration or shutdown notice, Max account status, renewal date, cancellation attempt, missing content, support ticket, and the exact outcome you want Max or the billing provider to confirm.
The standalone Boomerang streaming app and website were discontinued on September 30, 2024, with subscribers and some Boomerang content moved into Max. The Boomerang website now redirects to a Max Boomerang channel page. For current billing and refunds, Max help tells users to identify who bills their subscription from the Subscription area and follow that billing provider's refund process.
Because the standalone Boomerang streaming service is no longer operating, a complaint should not assume a normal active Boomerang subscription flow. It should focus on migration, Max access, billing source, charge after shutdown, missing account transfer, or missing content.
This guide is for organizing a customer complaint. It is not legal advice, payment advice, tax advice, privacy advice, app-store advice, streaming device advice, content availability advice, migration advice, or a decision about whether Boomerang, Max, Warner Bros. Discovery, Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, a payment issuer, a privacy authority, or another party must issue a refund, credit, cancellation, account transfer, content restoration, privacy response, or policy exception.
