Cancel on the Web

- Go to
https://music.apple.com/.
- Choose Sign In if needed.
- Select the account icon.
- Choose Settings.
- Scroll to Subscriptions and choose Manage.
- Choose Cancel Subscription.
If the web flow does not work, Apple directs users to cancel through device Settings or the broader subscription page at account.apple.com.
Cancel on iPhone, iPad, or Mac
On iPhone or iPad:
- Open Settings.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Apple Music.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
On Mac:
- Open the App Store.
- Click your name and sign in if needed.
- Open Account Settings.
- Go to Subscriptions.
- Choose Apple Music.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
Apple says if there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.
Cancel on Windows
Apple says Windows users can manage Apple-billed subscriptions from the Apple Music app, Apple TV app, or iTunes.
| App |
Path |
| Apple Music for Windows |
Click your name, View My Account, Settings, Subscriptions, Manage, Edit, Cancel Subscription |
| Apple TV for Windows |
Use the same View My Account and Subscriptions flow |
| iTunes for Windows |
Account, View My Account, Settings, Subscriptions, Manage, Edit, Cancel Subscription |
If the Apple Music subscription does not appear, check whether another Apple Account, Google Play, a carrier, or another provider is billing it.
Android, Google Play, and Provider Billing
Apple's cancellation page separates Android billing into two cases:
| Billing source |
What to do |
| Google Play |
Cancel in the Google Play app or at play.google.com |
| Apple |
Sign in at account.apple.com or cancel through Apple Music on the web |
| Wireless carrier or provider |
Contact that carrier or provider |
| Family member's Apple Account |
Ask the family member whose Apple Account appears on the receipt to cancel |
If you cannot find a receipt from Apple, Apple says the subscription may have been bought from another company. Check the card statement to identify the company that bills you.
Trial Timing and Refund Requests
Apple says if you signed up for a free or discounted trial and do not want it to renew, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Canceling stops future renewal. A refund request is separate. To request a refund from Apple:
- Go to
https://reportaproblem.apple.com/.
- Sign in with the Apple Account that was charged.
- Choose "I'd like to."
- Choose "Request a refund."
- Select a reason.
- Choose the Apple Music subscription or charge and submit.
Apple says refund eligibility can vary by country or region, and if the charge is still pending, you need to wait for the email receipt before requesting a refund.
