How to Cancel Your Ubisoft Plus Subscription (2025)

Ubisoft Plus, launched in 2019 as Uplay+, is Ubisoft's own game subscription service. It gives you access to a huge library of their titles. Maybe you signed up just to play the newest Assassin's Creed and now you're done until Shadows finally drops. It happens. With plans ranging from $14.99 to $17.99, canceling is a smart move if you're not using it, potentially saving you up to $215 a year. This guide helps you cancel your subscription on desktop or mobile without any headaches.

How to Cancel Ubisoft Plus Subscription on Desktop / Web Browser

Canceling Ubisoft Plus is done through their website, not the desktop app. It's a few clicks, but you have to navigate through your main account settings. Weirdly, I found the page loaded faster on my desktop than on my phone's browser, so maybe try that if you run into issues.

1 Go to the Ubisoft Store

First, head over to the official Ubisoft Store website. Don't try to do this through the Ubisoft Connect app, it'll just send you to the website anyway.

2 Log Into Your Account

Log in to the Ubisoft account that has the active subscription. If you're already logged in, double-check it's the right account, especially if you have more than one.

3 Find the 'My Subscription' Page

In the top-right corner, click on your little profile avatar. A dropdown menu will appear. Find and click on My Subscription. This can sometimes be tricky to spot.

4 Click 'Cancel Membership'

On this page, you should see your active Ubisoft+ subscription details. Look for a link or button that says Cancel Membership and click it. I had to look for a second, they don't make it huge and obvious.

5 Confirm Your Cancellation

Ubisoft will likely ask you why you're leaving and might even present a special offer to convince you to stay. If you're set on canceling, just click through the prompts to confirm your decision.

6 Check for Confirmation

Once you've confirmed, the page should update to show when your subscription will end. You should also get a confirmation email. If you don't get that email, go back and check the subscription page again to be sure it's actually canceled.

Cancel Ubisoft Plus Subscription with Live Chat / Support Ticket

Ubisoft funnels most support requests through their website. You can submit a support ticket or try to get a live chat agent.

  1. Go to the Ubisoft Support page.
  2. Select the relevant category (e.g., 'Account & Billing').
  3. Log in and describe your issue.

Live chat availability depends on the time of day and how busy they are. Be prepared for a potential wait.

Before you cancel, know this: you won't get a refund for the current billing period. Your access to the games will continue until the last day of your paid month, then it's gone. Your game saves should still be there if you decide to resubscribe later, but you won't be able to play the games. Also, Ubisoft does not offer a way to pause your subscription, you can only cancel it.
