How to Cancel U-Next Subscription on Desktop

Canceling on their website is probably the most direct way, but be ready for a few confirmation screens designed to make you stay. I had to click through three different pages just to get to the final button.

1 Log In to Your U-Next Account

Go to the official U-Next website and sign in with your email and password. Simple enough.

2 Find Your Account Settings

Once you're in, look for your profile icon or name, usually in the top corner. Click it and find 'Account & Settings' (or アカウント・設定 if it's in Japanese).

3 Navigate to Subscription

In the settings menu, you need to find the section for your subscription. It's often labeled 'Cancel Subscription' or '契約内容の確認・解約' (Confirmation/cancellation of contract details).

4 Follow the Cancellation Steps

This is where they try to keep you. You'll likely see a survey or some offers. Just keep scrolling and look for the button that says 'Agree and Proceed' or 'Next'.

5 Confirm the Cancellation

Finally, you'll reach a page to confirm. Click the final 'Cancel Subscription' button. Make sure you see a confirmation message on the screen and check your email for proof.

How to Cancel U-Next Subscription on iOS

If you signed up through your iPhone or iPad, you have to cancel through Apple. It's way easier than their website, honestly.

1 Open Your iPhone Settings

Go to the main Settings app on your device. The one with the gear icon.

2 Tap on Your Apple ID

Your name and profile picture are right at the top. Tap on it.

3 Go to Subscriptions

Select the 'Subscriptions' option from the list.

4 Find and Cancel U-Next

Scroll through your active subscriptions to find U-Next. Tap on it, then hit the red 'Cancel Subscription' button. Done.

How to Cancel U-Next Subscription on Android

For Android users, the process is similar to iOS. You'll manage it through the Google Play Store. Weirdly, a friend told me the app kept crashing, so he had to do it on his desktop browser anyway.

1 Open the Google Play Store

Launch the Play Store app on your Android phone or tablet.

2 Access Your Profile Menu

Tap on your profile icon in the top-right corner.

3 Go to Payments & Subscriptions

From the menu, select 'Payments & subscriptions' and then tap on 'Subscriptions'.

4 Select and Cancel U-Next

Find U-Next in your list of subscriptions, tap on it, and then select 'Cancel subscription'. Follow the prompts to confirm.

Cancel U-Next Subscription with Email

U-Next doesn't really have a direct support email. Instead, you have to use their Contact Form on the Help Center page. Expect a response within 2-3 business days. Don't hold your breath for a quick reply, especially with time zone differences.

Before you hit cancel, know this. U-Next won't give you a refund for the current billing period, even if you cancel a day after it renews. Super frustrating, but that's their policy. You'll keep your access until the end of the cycle. Also, make sure to use any leftover points you have. They'll disappear once the subscription officially ends, and that's like leaving free money on the table.
