How to Cancel BluTV / HBO Max Turkey

BluTV has become HBO Max in Turkiye. That means the right cancellation route depends less on the old BluTV app and more on who bills the current subscription.

If your BluTV subscription came directly from BluTV.com or through Hepsiburada Premium, HBO Max says the subscription is now handled through HBO Max. If your BluTV access came through Apple, Vodafone, or another third-party provider, HBO Max says those accounts do not sign in with the old BluTV account and need to be managed through the billing provider.

Do not delete the app and assume billing stops. HBO Max says app deletion does not end the subscription. End the subscription before the next billing date, then save the expiration date and confirmation.

Best Cancellation Route

Start by checking who bills the base subscription inside HBO Max. On the web, go to HBOMax.com/subscription and sign in. In the app, choose your profile and then Subscription. On a TV device, open Settings and then Subscription.

Cancel a Direct BluTV-Billed Subscription

Use this route when HBO Max shows the base subscription is billed through BluTV Iletisim ve Dijital Yayin Hizmetleri A.S.

1. Go to HBOMax.com/subscription.
2. Sign in with the HBO Max or former BluTV account email.
3. Check that the base subscription is billed through BluTV Iletisim ve Dijital Yayin Hizmetleri A.S.
4. Choose Cancel Your Subscription.
5. Confirm the cancellation.
6. Save the expiration date shown on the subscription page.

HBO Max says you can stream until the subscription expires at the end of the billing period. If the cancel button is missing, note the biller shown at the top of the subscription page and use the matching provider route.

If Your BluTV Account Moved to HBO Max

HBO Max says BluTV has evolved into HBO Max. The migration details matter because they determine whether the old BluTV login still works.

If you cannot sign in with the old BluTV email, reset the password from HBO Max before opening a support case. If the charge appears under a provider name instead of BluTV or HBO Max, use that provider as the source of truth.

Cancel Through Apple

Use this route when the charge is from Apple or HBO Max shows Apple as the biller.

1. Open the Settings app on an iPhone or iPad.
2. Choose your name.
3. Choose Subscriptions.
4. Choose HBO Max.

Cancel Through Google Play

Use this route when the charge is from Google or HBO Max shows Google Play as the biller.

1. Open the Google Play Store app on the Android phone or tablet.
2. Choose the profile icon.
3. Choose Payments & subscriptions.
4. Choose Subscriptions.
5. Choose HBO Max.
6. Choose Cancel subscription and save the confirmation.

If the subscription is missing, check the Google account used when the plan was started. HBO Max says pricing can vary for Google Play-billed subscriptions, so verify the final amount in Google Play or HBO Max.

Cancel Through Samsung TV, Vodafone, or Another Provider

Samsung TV-billed users should sign in to Samsung Checkout, open Purchase History, choose Subscriptions, find HBO Max, and unsubscribe.

For Vodafone, Turkcell TV+, Hepsiburada, or another mobile, internet, or TV provider, use that provider's account page or support center. HBO Max's regional cancellation page says internet, mobile, and TV provider subscriptions need to be ended through the provider.

Provider-billed subscriptions can look active in HBO Max even when payment is controlled somewhere else. The biller shown on the HBO Max subscription page and the name on the bank or app-store receipt should match the route you use.

Hepsiburada Premium and HBO Max

Hepsiburada Premium is a special case. HBO Max says the Hepsiburada HBO Max plan contains ads and is included with the Hepsiburada Premium package. The activation path starts inside Hepsiburada Premium benefits and then redirects to HBO Max.

If you had both Hepsiburada Premium and a separate HBO Max or BluTV paid plan, check both accounts. Ending one does not always end the other.

Use the price shown in your HBO Max account, app-store subscription page, or provider bill as the final source for your cancellation deadline.

Refunds and Access After Cancellation

HBO Max says subscriptions continue until they end and that you can stream until the expiration date at the end of the billing period. For HBO Max-billed subscriptions in the US help center, WarnerMedia Direct has a no-refund policy for subscriptions, while refund rules vary by billing provider.

For Turkey-specific BluTV-billed accounts, do not assume a refund unless HBO Max support or the billing provider confirms it. If the charge is from Apple, Google Play, Samsung, Hepsiburada, Vodafone, or another provider, ask that provider about refund rules.
