For safety incidents, write down the facts as soon as possible: time, location, trip, what happened, injuries if any, police or medical involvement, and any witnesses.
Fare Reviews, Charges, and Lost Items
Uber's rider support page says trip-specific issues should start from Your Trips or Activity, where the trip receipt and Help section are attached. For fares, use the Fare Review section or the relevant trip help option so Uber can review pickup, drop-off, route, tolls, fees, promotions, and payment.
For lost items, Uber says calling your driver to connect is the best way to retrieve an item. If more than 24 hours have passed since the trip ended and you still cannot connect, Uber says it can step in to help after you submit details.
If the lost item is your registered phone, use Uber's lost-phone flow from a web browser and provide a reachable phone number. Do not share passwords, one-time codes, or full payment details with anyone claiming to have the item.
Safety Incidents and Serious Reports
Uber's Safety Incident Reporting Line page says that if you need immediate police or medical attention, or believe a driver is under the influence, call 911 first. Once everyone is safe, report the incident through Uber's safety support path.
Uber's U.S. Safety Report says riders can report incidents through the Help menu in the Uber app and can also report safety issues online. For people without Uber accounts, Uber provides a serious incident form for driver or vehicle reports.
Use the safety flow for accidents, unsafe driving, harassment, inappropriate physical contact, discrimination, threats, or other serious ride concerns. For routine fare or app issues, use the regular trip support path.
Driver, Delivery, Business, and Privacy Support
Drivers and delivery people should use the Driver app. Uber's driver phone-support page says drivers can go to Help in the Driver app and navigate to the issue to see available support options, including phone support when available.
Uber for Business support is for program administrators. Uber's business support page says admins can use the Help Center, chat from the Uber for Business dashboard, email, and a business support phone line. Employees should use normal Uber support for their own rides.
For privacy requests, use Uber's Privacy Notice and privacy inquiry forms. Uber also provides a form for people without a current Uber account to submit personal data requests or contact Uber's Data Protection Officer.
Use this script:
"I need help with an Uber issue. The account email is [email], account phone is [phone], and the trip was on [date/time] from [pickup] to [drop-off]. The issue is [fare review, unexpected charge, lost item, safety incident, driver feedback, account access, driver support, business support, or privacy request]. I have attached [receipt, screenshot, item description, safety notes, payment record, or prior case details]. Please confirm the next step and any adjustment, refund, lost-item update, safety case, or privacy response in writing."

- "Which safety reporting path should I use?"
- "What support options are available in the Driver app?"
