Cutoff Timing Before the Next Shipment
Bean Box publishes two related timing statements:
| Source |
Timing statement |
| Current cancellation FAQ |
Cancel by 5 PM PST on Wednesday the week before the next scheduled delivery |
| Current billing FAQ |
Recurring subscriptions are billed after 5 PM PST on the Wednesday before the next coffee delivery ships |
| Terms of Service |
Cancel by 1 PM PST on Wednesday the week before the next scheduled shipment |
Because the Terms of Service still use the earlier cutoff, cancel before Wednesday 1 PM Pacific time the week before the shipment if you are close to the billing window. If you cancel after the cutoff, contact support and save the response that says whether the next shipment can still be stopped.
Pause, Skip, or Change Instead of Canceling
Bean Box says you can manage delivery schedule directly from the account. In the Coffee Plan section, select Reschedule Deliveries to skip or delay upcoming shipments. The pause FAQ says there is no charge to skip a delivery and that the schedule can be adjusted anytime.
This is useful if:
| Goal |
Account option to check |
| Too much coffee at home |
Skip the next delivery |
| Traveling |
Delay the upcoming shipment |
| Wrong address |
Update the shipping address before the cutoff |
| Wrong grind or roast style |
Adjust grind, roast preference, or coffee plan |
| Want lower frequency |
Change the delivery schedule |
| Want to stop all future charges |
Cancel the subscription instead of rescheduling |
Skipping a delivery is different from canceling the subscription. Confirm the future schedule after making any change.
Current Prices and Plan Context

Bean Box says plans automatically renew and can be customized or canceled online. Your actual renewal amount can depend on selected coffee style, bag quantity, frequency, annual versus pay-per-delivery plan, shipping, taxes, promotions, and account credits.
Prepaid and Gift Subscriptions
Bean Box has recurring subscriptions and set-duration gift subscriptions.
The gift FAQ says anything purchased from the gifts section will not be set to automatically renew. It lists Sampler Gift subscriptions and Coffee of the Month gift subscriptions with set durations ranging from 1 month to 1 year.
The Terms of Service say prepaid 3-month, 6-month, or annual subscription terms are billed at purchase. The next Subscription Billing Date comes before the first shipment following the 3-month, 6-month, or year anniversary selected at checkout.
If you bought a gift, check whether it was a set-duration gift or a normal subscription purchased for someone else. If you bought a prepaid recurring plan, confirm whether it renews after the prepaid term.
