Apple App Store Cancellation
Use Apple if the receipt or subscription list shows Apple as the billing provider.
- Open Settings on the iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your Apple ID name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select AccuWeather.
- Tap Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial.
- Save the Apple confirmation.
Apple says that if there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message, the subscription is already canceled. For App Store refund requests, use Apple's refund flow because Apple controls the payment.
Google Play Cancellation
Use Google Play if the subscription was purchased through a Google account.
- Open Google Play or the Google Play subscription page.
- Sign in with the Google account that subscribed.
- Open Payments & subscriptions.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Choose AccuWeather.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
If you do not see AccuWeather in Google Play, check other Google accounts, Apple, or AccuWeather direct billing.
AccuWeather publishes a Professional account cancellation page. It asks users who cannot find what they need to email support@accuweather.com and ask to speak to an AccuWeather.com Professional Customer Advocate before canceling.
The same page says that to cancel a Professional account, press the cancellation button and provide a phone number if AccuWeather may contact you about the cancellation. It also says the account will be canceled at the end of the current billing cycle.

Developer or API Packages
AccuWeather developer/API packages follow the AccuWeather Data Service Terms. Those terms say a developer can cancel a package at any time by logging in, selecting My Purchased Packages from the user menu, clicking Cancel beside the package, and confirming.
Developer package notes:
- API license keys become inactive at midnight UTC on the cancellation date
- monthly packages renew until terminated
- packages are nonrefundable regardless of use or lack of use
- usage beyond package limits can create additional charges
- package terms are separate from consumer mobile Premium subscriptions
If your charge is tied to API access, do not cancel only the consumer app. Cancel the developer package in the developer account.
Refunds and Billing Rules
AccuWeather's Terms of Use state that purchased packages are nonrefundable regardless of use or lack of use and that no credits or refunds are available. The developer terms use the same nonrefundable package language.

If a credit card charge appears after a timely cancellation and appears to be a billing error, the FTC says written billing-error notices generally must reach the card issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent. Start with AccuWeather or the platform that billed you, but keep the card issuer deadline in mind.

AccuWeather's Privacy Policy was last modified October 31, 2025. The policy says users can request access, deletion, or correction of personally identifiable information by calling 1-800-562-6452 or visiting https://www.accuweather.com/en/contact.
