DailyWire+, launched by The Daily Wire in 2022, is a streaming service for news, opinion shows, and original movies. Maybe you signed up to watch "Lady Ballers" and see what all the fuss was about, or maybe you just don't use it enough to justify the cost. Whatever the reason, canceling shouldn't be a headache. This guide will help you end your subscription without any surprise charges. With plans ranging from $14 to $20, you can save up to $216 a year by canceling. We'll cover how to do it on your desktop, iOS, or Android device.
How to Cancel DailyWire plus Subscription on Desktop
Canceling on a computer is probably the easiest way. Sometimes the mobile site can be a bit glitchy, so I'd stick to a desktop or laptop if you can. It's still a few clicks deep, so don't expect a giant 'Cancel' button on the homepage.
1 Log In to Your Account
Go to the DailyWire+ website and sign in with your email and password. Simple enough.
2 Find Your Account Settings
Click on the profile icon, which is usually in the top-right corner. A dropdown menu should appear. Select 'My Account'.
3 Navigate to Subscription
On your account page, look for a tab or link that says 'Subscription' or 'Billing'. This is where they hide the important stuff.
4 Locate the Cancel Option
You should see your current plan details. Somewhere near that, there will be a link that says 'Cancel Subscription'. It might be in small text. Be persistent.
5 Confirm the Cancellation
You'll likely have to click through a survey or a page asking if you're really sure you want to leave. Just keep clicking 'Confirm Cancellation' until you're done. You should get a confirmation email afterward.
How to Cancel DailyWire plus Subscription on iOS
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, you can't cancel on the DailyWire+ website. You have to do it through your Apple account settings. It's a common point of confusion.
1 Open Your iPhone Settings
Go to the main Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2 Tap on Your Apple ID
Your name and profile picture are right at the top. Tap it.
3 Go to Subscriptions
Select the 'Subscriptions' option from the list.
4 Find and Cancel DailyWire+
Find DailyWire+ in your list of active subscriptions and tap on it. Then, hit 'Cancel Subscription' and confirm.
How to Cancel DailyWire plus Subscription on Android
Just like with Apple, if you signed up through the Google Play Store, you must cancel it there. The website won't work for this. Weirdly, I had to refresh the subscriptions page twice for it to show up.
1 Open the Google Play Store
Launch the Play Store app on your Android device.
2 Access Your Profile
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
3 Go to Payments & Subscriptions
Select 'Payments & subscriptions' from the menu, then tap 'Subscriptions'.
4 Find and Cancel DailyWire+
Locate the DailyWire+ subscription in the list, tap on it, and then select 'Cancel subscription'. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish.
Cancel DailyWire plus Subscription with email
DailyWire+ doesn't list a direct support email. Instead, you have to use their Contact Us form on the website. You can find it in the footer. Fill it out, explain you want to cancel, and provide your account details. Expect a response within 1-3 business days. Honestly, canceling it yourself through the account page is way faster.
Heads up, DailyWire+ doesn't offer prorated refunds. If you cancel, you'll keep your access until the end of your current billing period. So, if you paid for a year, you've got access for the year. Also, your account data should remain, but you'll lose access to paid content once the subscription officially ends. They don't seem to offer a 'pause' option, so it's either on or off.
