Cancel a Direct Bitsbox Subscription
Use this route if your receipt came from Bitsbox or Cratejoy-powered Bitsbox checkout.
- Go to
https://subscribe.bitsbox.com/customer/account.
- Sign in with the Grownup Account used to buy the subscription.
- Find the active Bitsbox subscription.
- Click the cancellation button next to the subscription.
- Complete the survey.
- Save the confirmation and check again after the 48-hour processing window.
Bitsbox says direct subscriptions can be canceled at any time, which means the next automatic renewal is canceled. Boxes already paid for still ship.
Cancel Bitsbox Through Amazon
Use this route if the subscription was ordered on Amazon.
- Sign in to the Amazon account used for the order.
- Open Accounts & Lists.
- Choose Memberships and Subscriptions.
- Find Bitsbox.
- Select Manage Subscription.
- Choose End subscription.
- Save the Amazon confirmation.
Bitsbox says Amazon subscriptions are billed each time a box ships, usually within two days of the original order or the order anniversary.

Bitsbox uses two account types:

If the child can still sign in after cancellation, that does not mean billing is still active. Bitsbox says kids keep access to the website and the apps they already built even after the subscription ends.

The FAQ also says the Bitsbox website itself is free to use and that subscriptions start at $16.95/month, which matches the lowest annual Digital per-month price.
Renewal Timing
Bitsbox renewal timing depends on when and where the subscription started.

If you are trying to stop the next renewal, cancel before that renewal date and keep proof until the date has passed. Bitsbox terms refer to a 48-hour notice requirement, so do not wait until the renewal day.

If you paid for a 3-, 6-, or 12-month term, cancellation is still useful because it stops the next renewal. It usually does not shorten the term already purchased.
Message to Bitsbox Support
Use this if the store account does not show the active subscription:
Please cancel future renewal for my Bitsbox subscription. My Grownup Account email is [email]. The subscriber name is [name]. My plan is [Digital / Basic / Premium] and my latest receipt is dated [date] for [amount]. Please confirm the cancellation date, the next renewal status, and whether any boxes already paid for will still ship.
If your order was through Amazon, include the Amazon order number and ask whether Bitsbox can identify the subscription source, but complete the cancellation in Amazon.
