Pine keeps billing in one place so you can manage your subscription, payment method, invoices, and credit purchases without chasing separate portals.

This guide explains what to do when a payment fails, where to find invoices, why you might see an additional charge, and how Pine reviews refund requests.

Payment Method Basics

You can update your card in Settings > Plan & Credits. If a renewal payment fails, Pine retries failed payments automatically.

If your card is not supported or keeps getting declined, try a major credit or debit card first. You can also contact your bank to authorize the transaction or adjust a temporary limit. If you are still blocked, contact support with your country or region so Pine can advise on options.

Why Payments Fail

Most failed payments come down to one of three issues:

  • The card expired or the card details are outdated.
  • The account has insufficient funds.
  • The bank blocked the transaction.

Update your card in Settings > Plan & Credits, check your account balance, or ask your bank to authorize the transaction before retrying.

Invoices and Charge Types

Invoices and receipts are available in Settings > Plan & Credits immediately after a charge. You can export them anytime.

You may see three kinds of Pine charges:

  • Subscription renewals.
  • Add-on credits, currently USD 20 for 4,000 credits.
  • Bill negotiation success fees for Starter, Pro Monthly, and Enterprise Monthly plans.

If you see an additional charge after a bill negotiation, it is usually the success fee. On Starter, Pro Monthly, and Enterprise Monthly plans, Pine charges 25% of confirmed savings after savings are confirmed. Pro Annual and Enterprise Annual waive that fee because negotiation runs under plan credits.

Refund Reviews

Pine does not refund used subscription time by default. If you were charged in error or ran into a system issue, contact support with the invoice ID so Pine can review.

Credits and add-ons are generally non-refundable once granted or used. If credits were consumed because of a system fault, contact support with the task link and timestamp. Pine may issue credits or a refund at its discretion.

Add-on credits never expire and stay on your account even if you cancel.
