Choose the Netflix cancellation path that matches your account

Netflix says you will not be charged again unless the account is restarted. When time remains in the billing period, viewing normally continues until the account closes automatically at the end of that period.

Confirm the account and billing owner first

Netflix can only cancel a membership it bills directly. A quick account check prevents you from following the right-looking steps in the wrong company’s system.

Match the charge to the right account

Use the email address tied to the charged Netflix membership. If you cannot identify it, use Netflix’s sign-in and account-recovery guidance before disputing the charge.

Read Membership and Billing

If the account names Apple or another payment partner, use that company’s cancellation instructions. A missing Netflix cancel control normally means another company manages billing.

Check the closing date

Netflix normally keeps access active through the current billing period. Accounts on hold can close immediately, while gift or promotional balances may extend access.

Do not rely on deleting the app

Removing Netflix from a phone, TV, or streaming device and signing out do not cancel the paid membership.

Keep proof and check for a completed cancellation
