How to cancel Willow through the correct billing owner
Web cancellation
Cancel Willow through Web
1Identify the Willow billing owner
Sign in at willow.tv in a desktop or mobile browser, then open the account or profile area. Check the subscription or billing section to see whether your Premium plan is shown as billed directly through Willow or indicates an external store such as App Store, Roku, Amazon or Android Pay. If it shows an external store, follow that platform’s cancellation path instead of the web steps below.
2Open subscription settings
While signed in on the site or in the Willow by Cricbuzz app, go to My Account or a similarly named account menu. From there, open My Profile or Manage Subscription. This section is where Willow lets you view your Premium plan details and provides the in‑product controls to manage or cancel your subscription.

3Select Willow and cancel
In Manage Subscription, locate your active Premium Subscription entry. Use the Cancel Subscription option provided there to turn off auto‑renew for this plan, and follow any on‑screen prompts until the status shows that cancellation is scheduled at the end of the current billing period.
4Keep the end-date confirmation
After cancelling, look for a confirmation message that includes the date your Premium access will end, and keep the confirmation email Willow sends with the subscription expiration date. Save a screenshot or email copy so you can prove that auto‑renew was turned off if you ever need to dispute future charges.
iOS cancellation
Cancel Willow through iOS
1Open Settings
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app from your home screen. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID that was used when you subscribed to Willow, as Apple manages subscriptions separately for each Apple account.
2Tap your name
At the top of Settings, tap your name to open your Apple ID account screen. This area controls iCloud, media and purchases, and it includes the Subscriptions menu Apple uses for managing app billing.

4Choose Willow
In the Active section, tap the entry labeled Willow or Willow by Cricbuzz. This opens the subscription detail page where Apple shows your current plan, renewal options, next billing date and the control to cancel or change the subscription.
5Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm
On the Willow subscription detail page, use Apple’s Cancel Subscription option to stop auto‑renew, then confirm when prompted. Afterward, verify that the page now shows an end date instead of a renewal date, and keep any confirmation email from Apple as your proof of cancellation.
Google Play cancellation
Cancel Willow through Google Play
1Open Google Play
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app while signed into the same Google account you used to subscribe to Willow. This account controls all Play Store subscriptions and needs to match the one shown on your Willow purchase receipt.
2Open Payments & subscriptions
In Google Play, tap your profile icon in the top‑right corner to open the account menu, then choose the Payments & subscriptions option. This section holds your saved payment methods, billing history and links to manage subscriptions purchased through Google Play.

5Tap Cancel subscription and confirm
On the Willow subscription screen, use Google Play’s Cancel subscription option to turn off auto‑renew and follow the prompts until the subscription shows a final access date instead of a renewal date. Keep any confirmation email from Google as your record that the Play Store subscription was cancelled.
Refund policy
Willow refund and renewal rules
Willow treats Premium Subscription fees as non‑refundable and relies on automatic renewal until you actively cancel. Understanding these rules helps set expectations if you miss a renewal date or experience issues.
Check my refund options- Subscriptions auto-renew by default
- Willow’s terms state that after your original subscription ends, it will automatically renew at the then‑current rates unless you cancel before the renewal, and that renewal charges are applied to the payment method on your account by the payment service provider.
- All Premium sales are final
- The Termination, Suspension, and Refunds section explains that if you cancel before the term of your Premium Subscription is up, your account will not be prorated, discounted or refunded, and that all sales of Premium Subscription Services are final.
- Non-refundable once processed
- The Willow by Cricbuzz FAQ confirms that subscription fees are non‑refundable once payment is successfully processed. You may cancel at any time to stop auto‑renewal, and you will continue to have access until the end of the current billing period.
- Store-billed refunds handled by stores
- For subscriptions where payment was processed via Apple Services or Google Play Services, Willow explains that it cannot issue refunds directly. Instead, you must request any refund through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- No refunds for connectivity issues
- Willow also notes that it is not responsible, and will not issue refunds, for Premium Subscription problems caused by your telecommunications equipment or services, such as your internet connection, mobile data or devices.
If you believe you cancelled on time but were still charged, first verify which platform billed you, then contact that billing owner with your receipts. For direct willow.tv subscriptions, reach Willow support via cs@willow.tv or the in‑app Get Support link so they can review your account history. View Willow FAQs for billing help
Who bills your Willow plan
Understand who owns your Willow billing
Willow can be billed directly on willow.tv or through several platforms. Knowing which one you used is essential, because cancellation must happen in that same account.
Direct Willow web subscriptions
You can buy a monthly or yearly subscription on willow.tv using a payment method stored in your Willow account. These direct online subscriptions are managed in the My Account and Manage Subscription areas of the Willow site or app.
App Store and Google Play purchases
Willow lets you subscribe through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Willow’s FAQ states that if you made an in‑app purchase, you are redirected to App Store or Play Store to cancel auto‑renewal, confirming that those app stores act as the billing owners for those subscriptions.
Roku, Amazon and other platforms
Willow’s FAQ asks users who need help locating a subscription to confirm whether it was purchased via App Store, Roku, Amazon or Android Pay, indicating that these platforms can also bill for Willow access and must be used to manage those specific subscriptions.
TV channel through cable or streaming providers
Willow’s classic FAQ lists many TV and streaming providers such as Dish, Sling, Spectrum, Fios and others under a TV Channel menu. Those services offer the Willow TV channel as part of their own packages, and any changes or cancellations for those packages must be handled with the respective TV provider, not via Willow’s web subscription tools.
After you cancel
What happens after you cancel Willow
Cancelling Willow mainly affects how long you keep Premium streaming access. Your account can still exist and may retain limited free viewing options.
Access continues to period end
Willow’s terms explain that when you cancel your Premium Subscription, the cancellation becomes effective at the end of the then‑current subscription period. You keep access to Premium content until that date, even though auto‑renew has been turned off.
No proration or mid‑cycle credit
If you cancel before the term of your Premium Subscription is up, Willow states that your account will not be prorated, discounted or refunded. You simply use the remaining time you have already paid for.
Account stays unless you delete it
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your Willow account or data. Account deletion is a separate action in the Account → My Profile → Delete Account section of the app or website, and you should only use it if you truly want to remove your account.
Free and promo content after cancellation
Even without an active Premium subscription, Willow notes that some videos are marked Premium Free and that certain lower‑priority live events can be watched on willow.tv or in the apps by simply registering an account, without an additional purchase.
Refund limits
Refunds, renewals and missed cancellations
Willow’s current policy is strict about refunds and emphasizes cancelling before renewal to avoid future charges.
Auto-renew until you cancel
The terms specify that Premium Subscription fees are billed at the time you establish your subscription and on an ongoing basis at the intervals specified, and that subscriptions automatically renew at the then‑current rates unless you cancel before renewal.
All Premium sales are final
Under the Termination, Suspension, and Refunds section, Willow states that all sales of Premium Subscription Services are final and that the service does not provide price protection or refunds if prices change or promotions are introduced later.
Non-refundable subscription fees
The Willow by Cricbuzz FAQ reiterates that subscription fees are non‑refundable once processed, though you can cancel at any time to stop auto‑renewal and keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Where to request store refunds
For payments processed through Apple Services or Google Play Services, Willow explains that it cannot issue refunds directly. In those cases, any refund requests must be submitted through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store’s own processes.
No refunds for connectivity issues
Willow’s terms add that it is not responsible, and will not issue refunds, for Premium Subscription disruptions caused by your own telecommunications equipment or services, such as internet or mobile network problems.
Account controls
Subscription cancellation vs. deleting your Willow account
Willow provides separate controls for stopping billing and for deleting your account, and using the wrong one can have unintended effects.
Cancel subscription in Manage Subscription
To stop future Premium charges, Willow directs you to cancel under My Profile or Manage Subscription in your Account on the site or app, or to send written notice. This turns off subscription auto‑renew but leaves your account itself intact.
Deleting your account forfeits access
The FAQ explains that you can delete your account and associated data from Account → My Profile → Delete Account, but warns that if you have an active subscription it will be forfeited upon account deletion, ending access without a refund.
Store-billed plans need extra care
For subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Play Store, Willow recommends cancelling them via the store even after deleting your Willow account, to avoid any future charges that might otherwise continue from the store side.
Support if you cannot match an email
If Willow cannot find an active online subscription for your email, the FAQ asks you to provide alternate emails, payment details and to confirm whether the purchase was via App Store, Roku, Amazon or Android Pay so support can locate the correct billing owner.
App stores & devices
Managing Willow on Apple, Roku and other platforms
Many Willow viewers subscribe through app stores or TV platforms rather than directly on the web, and those subscriptions must be managed where they were started.
Apple subscriptions use iOS settings
Willow’s terms include an Apple section that tells you to go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, tap Subscriptions and select your subscription to manage or cancel it, reflecting Apple’s built‑in subscription controls.
Roku subscriptions via Roku account
For Roku, Willow’s terms instruct you to manage or cancel subscriptions by visiting my.roku.com/subscriptions or by selecting the app on your Roku device, pressing the star button and managing the subscription there, following Roku’s own guidance.
In-app purchases redirect to stores
Willow’s FAQ explains that when you cancel via Manage Subscription in the app or website, in‑app purchases are redirected to App Store or Play Store to cancel auto‑renewal. This means Willow’s interface hands you off to the store that actually bills you.
Supported streaming devices
The FAQ lists supported devices for Willow by Cricbuzz, including Web, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, Samsung TV, Fire TV and Chromecast. You manage app‑store subscriptions for these devices in their respective platform accounts.
If cancel doesn’t work
If you cannot find or complete cancellation
If cancellation controls are missing or something goes wrong, Willow provides backup contact options and some guidance on legacy apps and devices.
Use latest Willow by Cricbuzz app
If you are still on an older Willow app, the FAQ notes that the legacy app is no longer supported and instructs you to update or install the latest Willow by Cricbuzz app from the relevant app store for your device before trying again.
Try web My Account on a browser
When the mobile app behaves unexpectedly, you can open willow.tv in a desktop or mobile browser, sign in, and use the My Account and Manage Subscription areas there to review or cancel your Premium Subscription.
Contact Willow support by email
If the subscription still does not appear or cancellation fails, Willow invites you to email cs@willow.tv, including device details and, if relevant, purchase receipts, so support can investigate your account and billing.
Use in-app Get Support link
The FAQ also says you can go to Get Support under the My Account section of the app. That route submits a request from within your logged‑in profile, which can help Willow support match your account and subscription more quickly.
Escalating service issues
If you have problems with the Services that are not directly about billing, Willow’s terms tell you to report issues and provide a separate grievance contact email. This is intended for service quality complaints rather than routine subscription changes.
Alternatives to cancelling
Alternatives to cancelling your Willow subscription
If you want to reduce costs or limit usage without fully leaving Willow, there are a few official options that do not involve cancelling your subscription right away.
Use Premium Free videos
Willow states that some content is marked Premium Free and can be watched by simply logging in or signing up, even without a paid subscription. Sampling these videos can help you decide whether you still need Premium access before cancelling.
Take advantage of free digital matches
When multiple matches are live, Willow’s FAQ explains that a third‑priority event may be available on willow.tv or in the apps without any additional purchase if you just register an account, letting you watch some cricket without an ongoing Premium plan.
Pause usage without deleting account
Because cancellations do not delete your account, you can cancel, continue using your paid access until the end of the term, and then keep your free registered account for occasional Premium Free or third‑priority streams without managing a full subscription.
Multi-device viewing within limits
The FAQ notes that a Willow by Cricbuzz subscription allows access on up to two devices at the same time. If multiple people in your household are watching, using this multi‑device allowance might offer enough flexibility that you do not need to cancel.
