Cancel Website Billing
Use this route when the membership was created on AdaptedMind's website rather than in the mobile app.
- Go to
https://www.adaptedmind.com/login.
- Sign in with the parent account email. AdaptedMind's FAQ says the parent account username is the email used when joining.
- Review the parent account and membership settings.
- Cancel the membership if the option appears.
- Save the confirmation or a screenshot showing the cancellation state.
- If the option is missing or the account email is unclear, contact AdaptedMind support.
AdaptedMind's Billing page says support can help cancel accounts and/or refund payments. That makes support the right fallback when the account page cannot be used or the family is unsure which email owns the membership.
Cancel the Mobile App Subscription
AdaptedMind's Contact page says the mobile app is available for both iOS and Android, and that app users are eligible for a 30-day free trial before continued app access converts to a monthly subscription at $9.95 per month. It also says users should unsubscribe according to the platform used to download the AdaptedMind mobile app.

Notes |
| iOS |
Apple ID > Subscriptions > AdaptedMind |
Apple controls billing and confirmation |
| Android |
Google Play > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > AdaptedMind |
Google Play controls billing and confirmation |
| Subscription not shown |
Check another Apple ID or Google account, or check whether signup happened on the web |
Contact AdaptedMind with account details if still unclear |
Canceling through Apple or Google stops future app payments, but access may continue until the end of the current billing cycle. Save the platform confirmation because AdaptedMind may need it if you later ask about a charge.
Refunds and the 30-Day Guarantee
AdaptedMind's Guarantee page says that if a user is not satisfied, the user can cancel the subscription at any time in the first 30 days of enrollment and will not be charged. AdaptedMind's Billing page also says support can help with refunds.
Use this table to frame the request:
| Situation |
Best next step |
| Within first 30 days of enrollment |
Cancel and ask support to confirm the guarantee applies |
| App trial still active |
Cancel through Apple or Google before trial conversion |
| Charged after trying to cancel |
Send cancellation proof, account email, charge date, amount, and receipt |
| Wrong parent email used |
Ask support to search by parent email, student username, and receipt |
| Apple or Google charged the subscription |
Use Apple or Google billing support first, then send AdaptedMind the platform receipt if needed |
Do not include sensitive student details unless support asks for them. Start with the parent email, charge amount, charge date, platform, and receipt.

Account and Data Deletion
Cancel paid billing before deleting account data. Deleting an account or app profile may remove access to account records, but it does not always prove that a paid subscription was stopped.
AdaptedMind's Contact page includes an app account-data deletion section. It says users can delete account data from the app and that, if the option is not available, users can contact support at info@adaptedmind.com. It also says deletion is irreversible and that users can cancel an account-deletion request within 15 days by contacting customer support.
Recommended order:
- Cancel the paid subscription.
- Save cancellation confirmation.
- Confirm no active subscription remains.
- Request account or data deletion if desired.
- Save the deletion request confirmation.
If AdaptedMind Charges You After Cancellation
First, identify who processed the charge. A website membership and a mobile-app subscription may have different billing records.
| Evidence |
Why it matters |
| Card statement line |
Shows date, amount, and descriptor |
| Parent account email |
Helps AdaptedMind locate the account |
| Apple or Google receipt |
Shows platform billing if app-based |
| Cancellation confirmation |
Shows timing |
| Support ticket or email |
Shows prior request history |
| Guarantee enrollment date |
Helps determine whether the 30-day guarantee may apply |
If AdaptedMind billed the charge directly, contact AdaptedMind support with the evidence. If Apple or Google billed it, start with Apple or Google billing support because they control app subscription billing.
If a credit card charge still appears to be a billing error after the merchant or platform review, the FTC says written billing-error notices generally must reach the card issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent. Keep that card-issuer deadline in mind while you work through the merchant path.
What to Say When You Cancel
Use this script:
"Please cancel my AdaptedMind Math subscription and stop future renewal. My parent account email is [email]. I believe the billing source is [AdaptedMind website / Apple / Google Play / unknown]. The charge or renewal date is [date], and the amount is [amount]. Please confirm that the subscription is canceled, tell me the final access date, and confirm whether any other active AdaptedMind subscription remains under this email or receipt."
For a refund or 30-day guarantee request, add:
"I enrolled on [date] and canceled or requested cancellation on [date]. Please review whether the 30-day guarantee or refund help applies to this charge."
Keep the tone factual and include the receipt. A short, complete message is easier for support to act on than a long complaint.
