How to Cancel Your Fitbit Subscription (2025)

So you're done with Fitbit Premium. Maybe the novelty wore off, or you realized you're not really checking your 'Daily Readiness Score' as much as you thought you would. It happens. Fitbit, founded back in 2007, makes great trackers, but the subscription can feel like an extra cost you just don't need. People are even tracking their insane step counts at Taylor Swift concerts without the premium perks, so you're probably fine. This guide will help you cancel your subscription, which costs from $9.99 to $79.99, across iOS, Android, and desktop. Ditching it could save you up to $79.99 a year. Let's get that money back in your pocket.

How to Cancel Fitbit Subscription on Desktop

This is probably the easiest way. For some reason, doing it on a computer just seems to work better. I tried on mobile first and the page felt a bit clunky.

1 Go to the Fitbit Website

Log in to your account at fitbit.com.

2 Find Your Settings

Click the gear icon in the top right corner, then select Settings from the dropdown menu.

3 Navigate to Subscriptions

On the left-hand menu, find and click on My Subscriptions. This is where they hide it.

4 Cancel Premium

You'll see your Fitbit Premium subscription listed. Click the Cancel Subscription link and follow the final prompts to confirm. Make sure you get a confirmation message.

How to Cancel Fitbit Subscription on iOS

If you signed up through your iPhone, you have to go through Apple's maze of subscription settings. It's not in the Fitbit app itself, which is super annoying.

1 Open Your iPhone Settings

Go to the main Settings app on your device.

2 Tap Your Apple ID

Select your name and profile picture at the very top of the screen.

3 Go to Subscriptions

Tap on Subscriptions. You'll see a list of all your active and expired subscriptions.

4 Find and Cancel Fitbit

Find Fitbit in the list and tap on it. Then, hit the Cancel Subscription button. You might have to scroll to find it.

How to Cancel Fitbit Subscription on Android

Similar to iOS, if you subscribed on an Android device, you'll cancel through the Google Play Store. Don't bother looking in the Fitbit app.

1 Open the Google Play Store

Launch the Play Store app on your Android phone or tablet.

2 Access Your Profile

Tap on your profile icon in the top-right corner.

3 Manage Subscriptions

Select Payments & subscriptions, and then tap on Subscriptions.

4 Cancel the Fitbit Subscription

Locate Fitbit in your list of subscriptions, tap on it, and then select Cancel subscription. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish.

Cancel Fitbit Subscription with phone

Phone Number: (877) 623-4997. Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 AM - 9 PM PT. Saturday & Sunday, 6 AM - 5 PM PT.

Cancel Fitbit Subscription with live chat

You can find the Live Chat option on the official Fitbit support page: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support. You'll likely need to log in to start a chat.

Before you hit cancel, here's the deal. Fitbit won't delete your account or your step history. Phew. You just go back to the basic, free service. But don't expect a refund. Their policy is pretty clear: no money back, even if you cancel a day after it renews. You'll keep your premium features until the billing cycle ends. Also, you can't just pause the subscription. It's all or nothing.
